What is the difference between therapy and medication management?

A therapist is a licensed counselor or psychologist who can use talk therapy to help you treat mental health symptoms and improve how you manage stress and relationships. Psychiatric medication management comes from a provider trained in the medical model to treat mental illness. Your specialist can diagnose and prescribe medication to treat mental health disorders.

What can I expect from my first appointment?

You will receive appointment confirmations through email and or your phone. There will be intake forms and questionnaires to fill out including a payment card which must be filled out prior to seeing your provider. 15 minutes prior to your appointment you will receive a text including a video link through email, phone or both. The first appointment is all about getting to know you. We will discuss your history with pertinent details and then make treatment recommendations from there.

How do I get my medication?

During the intake you will fill out your preferred pharmacy and the mediation will be sent there. If you would like to change pharmacies you can always message your provider or make changes on the patient portal.

Why subscription based medication?

Subscription medicine is a win-win system. It comes at affordable rates and allows your provider to have less of a patient volume. In turn this allows you to be seen quickly if needed and more one on one attention from your provider.

Is insurance accepted?

Currently we are not accepting any insurance. We want our services to be available to everyone and not based on what insurance you have.

What to do if I am in a crisis?

If this is an emergency, call 911 OR the suicide prevention hotline at 988. The suicide prevention hotline offers 24-hour support and can be called from anywhere in the U.S. If you don't feel like you are in immediate danger, but need guidance, please reach out to your provider through the patient portal or email.

*If we ever have reason to believe you intend to hurt yourself or others, we may need to share information with your emergency contact in line with established safety protocols.
